Junc Trap JT

This complete Junk Trap is designed for really tough process conditions handling difficult and abrasive media. The JT is specially designed to minimize turbulence, erosive wear, and build-up of solids and reject material.

The Junc Trap consist of the RKO valve on the inlet side, which has a circular inlet and a square outlet, the square JTV valve on the outlet side which is installed in an inclined position on the quadratic and conic shaped reject tank. 

The reject tank enables different ways of operation, depending on media and type of application. It is designed with two sight glasses for observation of the reject level in the chamber. Water (flush/fill) and air bleed connections are located near the top of the tank and three connections are located near the lower end in order to prevent possible clogging and congestions in dead corners. 

The JT is availble with an inlet of RKO in size DN 100 or DN 150 (4" or 6"). The outlet side is supplied with the JTV valve in size 250x250 (10"x10").

The RKO valve on the inlet side

This valve is particularly well suited for demanding reject and other abrasive media why it is operating on the inlet side of the JT.


A reject tank for really demanding process conditions

The reject tank enables different ways of operation. It is as standard supplied with several water (flush/fill) and air bleed connections and two sight glasses for observation of the reject level in the chamber. 


The square JTV valve on the outlet side

This valve is installed in a slightly inclined position on the reject tank in order to minimize build of solids in dead corners. The square bore assures a reliable shut-off of really difficult reject media.
