BCTMP stock preparation solutions
This high performance 930 kg WB14E DN 800 (32”) is one out of totally five units which recently were made ready together with a range of other WB14E sizes, uni-directional MV knife gate valves and through-going HG knife gate valves. The product scope will be installed in a BCTMP (bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp) stock preparation process far east from Stafsjö manufacturing facility in Sweden.
The BCTMP process plays a significant role in the paper industry. Its unique production process combines the benefits of chemical and mechanical pulping, resulting in high-yield pulp with excellent strength and brightness properties suitable for various paper, tissue and packaging products. A high yield means that almost all original wood chips going into the process comes out as usable paper fibers, making the process extremely resource efficient.
